Every Child Matters
We run programmes to support the learning ability of every child because we believe every child has a potential to learn and achieve.
Life Education
Once a week, each class is given a lesson in ‘Life Education’ which involves imparting skills in personal, social, health and leadership education. This empowers students to succeed and cope with life’s challenges in the 21st century.
Developing a reading culture
The students are given the opportunity to develop their reading skills through literature classes, leisure reading of novels, magazines and newspapers, and through research using textbooks and e-learning materials.
School Family Initiative (SFI)
Every student is allocated a ‘Teacher Parent’ who works as a personal tutor and mentor to the student, providing guidance and motivation. The tutors are also responsible for sharpening students’ skills of health management in addition to providing information on HIV/AIDS prevention.
Career Education
Students must be given a reason for studying and this is done through career guidance. All the teachers engage in educational and career guidance at class, house and tutor levels. Career guidance is also taught as a component of Life Education.
Use of Technology in Teaching/Learning
The school practices blended learning where the traditional methods of teaching are integrated with the use of technology to enrich the experience of teaching and learning both for the students and teachers.
Spiritual Development
We have an obligation to inculcate in the students positive values which reflect ethical and sound judgment. This is done through spiritual and collective worship programs of Prayer, Mass, Retreats and visits to the mother Parish and Mt. Zion Prayer Center Bukalango. Therefore, producing a wholesome child is our goal.
To be the leading provider of an education that meets the demands of the century.
We are committed to proving a quality and holistic education that prepare the student to play a responsible and productive role in society.
